Payment for the class(es) can be made using the PayPal system on the PAYMENT page. Class fees are due 10 working days prior to the start of the first session, at the latest. Your child’s place will be reserved for the class when payment has been received.

All programs costs listed already include a $21 materials fee per student per class (Mountain Keepers materials fee is $15).


We offer discounts for siblings and a limited number scholarships for families. We believe all families should have the opportunity to connect with nature! Please share this information, and help us build a more eco-literate community.


You can cancel up to 10 working days before the program with a $50 cancellation fee. We require the full program balance for any cancellations that happen within 10 working days of the start of a session. This is necessary due to the small size of our class and is needed in order to cover costs. PANTHER RIDGE FARM staff will do everything possible to fill the spot, and if filled, you will only be charged $50. Thanks for your understanding and support. The Summer Program has a separate cancellation policy — please see Summer Program for details.


Missed classes within a series will not be excused from payment and we do not schedule make up classes.


We keep a 1:6 staff to child ratio at all times. This is important and allows for different interests to be met, for individuals to feel connected and be able to participate in their own way. We understand that some participants want to watch ants or pick flowers while others want to jump in the creek or catch frogs. Our staff to child ratio allows us to embrace a variety of opportunities with guidance, compassion and flexibility.


All PANTHER RIDGE FARM staff are at least CPR/first aid certified and trained in non-violent communication. In addition some staff have CERT and Wilderness First Responder certification. We are always equipped with a full first aid kit and are aware of the nearest hospital and clinic in case of emergency. Parents are contacted immediately if there is an emergency, and if they are unavailable the emergency contact provided will be called. We carry medical information, provided by parents, about allergies or pre-existing conditions that might create or impact an emergency situation. Your child’s safety is very important to us and we take all possible precautions to ensure a high level of adventure and fun while maintaining a high level of safety and security.
